Winds of Change

The habits and the people in the gardens are changing before we use to see old men playing cards nowadays we see more young people with friends or walking the dogs.

Top of the Hill

Lisbon is a city of hills big one small ones guess this one is a medium one on a high part of town. Between the trees someone enjoys the view on a late afternoon.

Areeiro

I used to live in the avenue that ended on that square and that building for me was always a fascination like it was the Portuguese Empire State Building it was a skyscraper to a child´s eyes also was where i bought my first bicycle on a shop under the arcades.

Statues Stone and Flesh

I always like to arrange the people on my pictures almost like chess pieces on a chessboard. Predicting all the movements and where are they gonna for be for the click of the camera. Thats a game i like to play.

Sunday at the Park

At Alameda on a Sunday afternoon one of the things i like in Photography is that can be timeless thats why i avoid references that can date my pictures like cars or some trendy things of the moment.

Blue Hour

Lately i realise that i don't photograph much after the golden hour mostly because of camera limitations and i got the need to get a good low light camera so i can photograph in low light or even candle light conditions so that has became my new obsession.

Up Down

The difference between watching a print and a image in the monitor is the scale and the texture and some pictures like this one need to be printed large.

When people likes it

Yesterday i was watching a TED about Architecture and its interesting when a project is accepted right away from everybody one of the first cases of innovation that was accepted was the Guggenheim Museum  of Bilbao a project from Frank Gehry, guess the MAAT had the same kind of likes from everybody.

Passing by

This city is becoming impossible to drive by car these days im spending one more hour to get to school then last year almost impossible to park since hundreds of parking places have been lost and the new city transformations are kinda strange to say the least so perhaps i need to buy a bicycle or even better a boosted board.

Slide on the Banister

It was a cool sport when i was a kid to slide on Lisbon tradicional banisters since there are many hills in town there are also many stairs and banisters.

Tiles

In the early 70´s i used to go to a friend´s house near Infante Santo and i was always fascinated by an orange wall of tiles in some stars of that Avenue i later knew the autor of that art piece that was so modern and fascinating to me when i went o MAAT i felt the same aesthetic of Eduardo Nery´s orange tiles those were from 1959.
